FACTORING

Factoring is a form of financing with which Primorska banka d.d. purchases outstanding unsecured kuna and foreign currency claims of its clients created by selling or exporting goods or services. The nominal value of claims is paid through the placement prior to its maturity, reduced by the appropriate discount. The claim is determined on the basis of the commercial documentation (invoice, bill of lading, Contract of purchase etc.). The Bank reserves the right of the placement return from the seller of the receivables if case the primary debtor (buyer) does not pay on maturity.



FORFAITING

Forfaiting is a form of financing with which Primorska banka d.d. purchases outstanding insured claims of its clients before the maturity date and with a discount. This product is intended for the domestic exporter corporations in case their claim from abroad is secured by the transferable collection instruments (bills of exchange, documentary letters of credit and guarantees). The claim is determined on the basis of the commercial documentation (invoice, bill of lading etc.) while the buyer of the exported goods or services assumes the risk of payment in full.
